SQUARE FOOT GARDENING TALKS AND CLASSES

OUTSIDE OF UTAH

There are three different opportunities to hear all about Square Foot Gardening:

--- 45 minute talks – This is an introduction to SFG and covers the 10 basic steps and familiarizes you with the basic system.

--- 3-hour classes – This class extensively covers the method and applications of SFG, from vertical gardening to extending the season and lots more. You'll be ready to start your own garden after this class.

--- 2-hour training session – only for those who want to become certified teachers of SFG. Session will cover methods of teaching, all the products available, and how to set up a speaking/teaching schedule yourself.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Once you learn all the basics in class - get the practical experience of building and planting a Square Foot Garden . This workshop includes actual seeding and transplanting, watering, protecting, nurturing, then harvesting. Next, replant a continuous crop. Then learn all the details of vertical gardening for tomatoes, squash and melons. You will also practice early and late season protection.

This is a one-on-one, practical, real hands-on experience taught in the greenhouse and outside in the display gardens. Take this workshop and you will be years ahead of your neighbor.
